Santalahti’s 18-hole Premium Disc Golf course winds through varied terrain in a pine forest, across rocky areas and along the seashore with beautiful open-sea views.
The course has 36 baskets, with a separate basket on each fairway for recreational and more experienced players. This allows players of different skill levels to enjoy the same round together.
Playing is free for guests staying at Santalahti Resort. Please register at Bistro/reception before playing.

Santalahti’s sandy beach is located right in the heart of the resort. The water is shallow and the bottom is smooth, soft sand, making the beach particularly suitable for families with children.
The beach has changing cubicles and toilets, barbecue and picnic areas, as well as a ramp providing wheelchair and pram access to the waterline.
Minigolf Park, the adventure course and beach volleyball courts are also located right next to the beach.
SUP boarding is an easy and fun way to enjoy the waters around Santalahti. Paddle standing up or on your knees – take it easy and enjoy the scenery or pick up the pace for a more active experience.

Rent a stable and easy-to-use kayak and explore Santalahti’s sheltered bay and nearby waters.
The kayaks have two seats with adjustable backrests and a small fixed child seat. They also feature storage compartments and an open storage area.
If you are not an experienced paddler, we do not recommend longer trips or paddling on the open sea.

Rent a bike at Santalahti and explore Kotka! The city centre, parks and many of Kotka’s attractions are easily accessible by bike. Cycling maps of the Kotka area are also available from Bistro Santalahti.
Guests staying at Santalahti can keep the bikes overnight during the winter season.
Please note: cycling is not permitted on Santalahti’s nature trails.

Explore Santalahti’s marked nature trails along the seashore and through peaceful pine forests. The trails are available all year round, and you can pick up a free map from Bistro Santalahti.
The blue-marked coastal trail leads to the rocky southern shores and beautiful open-sea views. Along the route you will find swimming spots, picnic areas and a seaside barbecue area.
The orange-marked forest trail winds through the central part and western shores of Mussalo Island. The route also features a scenic sea-view point and is a great choice for walking with your dog. The current site confirms the two routes as approximately 1.8 km and 2.6 km.
Enjoy Santalahti’s nature in winter too. Explore snowy nature trails on snowshoes or, when ice conditions allow, head out onto the frozen sea. Cross-country skiing is possible both on the sea ice and on trails through the forest.
Equipment is available for both children and adults.

Set out to sea from Santalahti and experience the beautiful Kotka archipelago and the Eastern Gulf of Finland National Park.
Our Targa 32 charter boat can depart from Santalahti or other marinas in the Kotka, Hamina, Pyhtää and Loviisa area. A sea trip can also be combined with a meeting day, dining, sauna or accommodation. The current page confirms this operating area and that the departure port can be agreed separately.

There is plenty to do for children at Santalahti. The adventure course near the beach offers fun and challenges for older children and anyone young at heart.
For younger children, there is a playground with a sandbox and swings. A selection of board games and outdoor games is available from Bistro Santalahti, and there is also an indoor playroom for rainy days.
Pets are warmly welcome at Santalahti – and we do not charge an extra fee for pets.
Most of our cottages have a dog gate at the terrace entrance, and some Santa Spa and Santa Sauna Villas have their own private fenced dog yard. Bistro Santalahti has a special menu and treat bar for dogs, as well as a fenced dog parking area.
Santalahti’s nature trails and surrounding nature also offer plenty to explore with your four-legged holiday companion.

Experience the Kymi River with an exciting rafting adventure, combining thrilling rapids with calmer stretches of the river.
Different options are available, from approximately 1.5-hour rafting trips to 4-hour experiences from the river all the way to the sea. The experience can also be combined with refreshments such as traditional campfire coffee and salmon sandwiches.
