The Nature Spa is a private sauna and spa experience for groups of up to 60 guests. Your group can move freely between the different saunas, pools, fireplace lounge and terraces, and enjoy an evening together by the sea.

The Nature Spa includes the Cave Smoke Sauna, the wood-heated Santa Glass Sauna with a glass roof, one or two spacious private saunas depending on the group size, two heated pools, a cold-water pool, changing and shower facilities, a fireplace lounge, WC and terraces with sea views.

CAVE SMOKE SAUNA

At the heart of the Nature Spa is the Cave Smoke Sauna, built underground. This traditional Finnish smoke sauna offers gentle, soft heat in a truly unique setting.

The smoke sauna is heated with locally sourced alder wood. Heating begins approximately seven hours before the sauna session, allowing the sauna and stove to heat slowly and thoroughly for the evening. Finnish olivine sauna stones complete the authentic smoke sauna experience.

SANTA GLASS SAUNA

With its glass roof, Santa Glass Sauna brings a completely different sauna experience to the Nature Spa. From inside the wood-heated sauna, you can look through the glass roof towards the sky, the sea and the surrounding nature.

Santa Glass Sauna complements the smoke sauna and gives your group the opportunity to enjoy two very different Finnish sauna experiences.

TWO HEATED POOLS & COLD-WATER POOL

The Nature Spa features two heated pools at 38 °C and a refreshing cold-water pool.

One of the heated pools is located inside an atmospheric vaulted cave with views towards the sea. The other is outdoors under the open sky, surrounded by spectacular sea views. Between sauna sessions, you can relax in the warm water, enjoy the scenery or cool down in the cold-water pool.

FRESH WATER FOR EVERY GROUP

All pools are cleaned, rinsed and emptied after every group. They are then refilled with fresh water before the next group arrives.

Our staff are trained in pool maintenance, and the pools are maintained responsibly.

GROUPS, CATERING & EVENTS

The Nature Spa is ideal for corporate recreation days, sauna evenings, meetings, celebrations and other private group events.

Catering can be arranged through Santalahti. Meals can be served at the Nature Spa or in one of our nearby meeting and event venues.

Drinks can be arranged through Santalahti, or you may also bring your own drinks if you prefer.

The Lappish Shelter, Fireplace Lounge and Villa Aava are located close to the Nature Spa. Santalahti also offers more than 200 beds, making it easy to combine your sauna evening with accommodation, meetings, celebrations or a complete group experience.
